Ivanka Trump Biography
Ivanka Trump was born on October 30, 1981 in New York City, New York. She is the daughter of multi-millionaire Donald Trump and his ex-wife Ivana Trump. Although she was born into money, Ivanka was not spoiled as a child. While attending Choate high school in Connecticut, Ivanka had to find herself part-time jobs to generate an income for herself. This is because her mother, Ivana, agreed to only pay for her school tuition, thus demonstrating a proper work ethic to young Ivanka.
One such part-time job that Ivanka participated in was modeling. Her beauty was quickly noticed within the fashion industry, which sparked her young career. She had gained the status of international model from the age of 16 while working under reputable companies such as Elite Model Management. Ivanka made her modeling debut in the fashion magazines Elle and Glamour. In May of 1997, Ivanka modeled for the front cover of the magazine “Seventeen”. During the same year, this rising model made her debut on national television as she hosted the Miss Teen USA Pageant. She has also walked the catwalk for famous designers such as Versace, Marc Bouwer, and Thierry Mugler. Ivanka has also modeled in campaigns for Thierry Mugler, Tommy Hilfiger and Sasson Jeans. At the age of 18 she was also featured in a spread in the British GQ.
Currently Ivanka has been spending some time within the Trump Organization as she sits along side her father, Donald, on his hit reality TV series “The Apprentice”. She is also the vice president of real estate development for the Trump Organization. Her screen appearance on “The Apprentice” opened new doors for her growing career.
It is fortunate that Ivanka grew up in a very strict home that encouraged her to enter the world of employment at an early age. She learned that only her hard work and dedication can get her to where she would like to be. It is this drive for success that brought fame for this 25-year-old woman who is rising to the top of the modeling industry.
